These are the terms for using Shared Worlds, at sharedworldsrpg.com and in Discord. Short version: play fair, what you make is yours, the service is offered as it is while in beta.
You need to be 13 or older. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.
Characters, settings, stories and anything else you write are yours. You give us the permission we need to store them, show them back to you, and run your games with them. When you choose to share something with other players, you give them permission to use it in their games too. Don't post things you don't have the right to share.
Be decent. No harassment, no hate, no sexual content involving minors, no using the service to hurt anyone. We can remove content or accounts that break this, and will if it comes to that.
It makes things up. That is the point, and also a warning: it can be wrong, uneven or strange, and rules of a game may be applied imperfectly. Treat it as a game master, not an authority.
D&D 2024 rules content is used under the Systems Reference Document 5.2 (CC-BY-4.0). Fate Condensed is used under its Creative Commons licence. Shared Worlds is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast or Evil Hat Productions.
Shared Worlds is in beta and free. It may go down, change or lose data, and we are not liable for that beyond what the law requires. We will do our best to warn you before anything that affects your games, and you can always download your data. If paid plans arrive, they will be described plainly before you are asked to pay anything.
Delete your account any time from Account & data. That removes everything you made here.
